Title: Writing Queer German History

Abstract: In the past two decades, there has been an explosion of historical research into topics touching on German sexuality, above all focusing on the early twentieth century. This talk will examine the process of trying to take stock of the results of much of research in a recent book entitled Queer Identities and Politics in Germany, 1880 – 1945.
