Pell Grant Recipients: Gilman Scholarship Information Session (multiple cals)
Description: The Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship is a scholarship opportunity available to students who receive a Federal Pell grant. Eligible students may receive up to $8,000 in funding for a study abroad or intern abroad experience. During this information session, staff from the Office of International Programs will review the scholarship goals, eligibility requirements, and application components with interested students.

Exploring Gender Identity and Combating Toxic Masculinity, via Zoom (Student Life)
Description: Join the Office of Diversity and Inclusion for a conversation about inclusivity and respect across gender. Dr. David Martinez, Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona will walk us through the effects of gender role expectations on children ages K-12 and their implications in higher education and beyond, specifically in the Latinx community. This talk will be followed by a grounding session by clinical psychologist Nisly Rapalo who will discuss the mental health implications.
