You are invited to attend Wofford College annual Chinese
Mid-Autumn Festival on September 16th, 5-7 p.m. at the Pavilion. The Mid-Autumn Festival, or
Moon Festival, is the second most important traditional holiday in China after Chinese New Year. This
festival allows the Chinese people to celebrate the autumn harvest and enjoy a
full moon with family and friends. It is celebrated on the 15th
day of August in the Chinese lunar calendar. This year it takes place on Thursday September 15th. Please join us on Friday, September 16th, 5-7 p.m. at the Pavilion for Chinese food, moon cake, fruits, games, and
crafting activities. It is a free event open to the public.
