CIL Workshop: So, You’ve Never Used Moodle, via Zoom

Description: |
In this 90-minute workshop, participants will be introduced to the basics of Moodle, including how to set up a course; how to post files, URLS, and videos; how to create assignments; how to use communication tools; and how to set up the gradebook. This is a hands-on workshop. By the end of the session, participants will have taken concrete steps toward setting up their own Moodle page for one of their fall classes. This is one of three identical two-hour workshops being offered this week. In the workshop, participants will work through the process of redesigning their courses to be blended. We will start from classroom constraints and course goals, think through how course components might look in-person and online, and end with a plan for how to blend a course and course mapping. This workshop is interactive. Please come with a course in mind. Participation is limited to 20. You can sign up using the link that was sent in the July 24 email to faculty and staff. You may sign up for all three workshops in order to repeat this process for multiple classes. If there is demand for additional sessions, more will be added.
