Discussion of un-grading, via Zoom
(Academic)
|
Description: |
This is an open discussion for faculty and staff about un-grading, the practice of leaving out the traditional evaluation of students employing a grading hierarchy in favor of process- and growth-oriented learning. Un-grading can take different forms: contract grading, portfolios, student reflections with detailed feedback, etc. The discussion will offer an opportunity to share practices, strategies, and approaches to non-hierarchical evaluation systems, as well as exchange ideas and generate a vision for future discussions and collaboration. To participate in this discussion, please sign up here, and a Zoom link will be sent to you on September 22.
